04/01/26: We are in the rough draft stage of a comedy project I’ve been developing called Darren - a series of absurd, fast-paced true short film sketches centered around a middle-aged biker/mechanic named Darren, whose life continuously spirals into increasingly ridiculous situations because of his own overconfidence and terrible decision-making.
The tone is heavily inspired by the anarchic verbal comedy of Groucho Marx and the Marx Brothers, mixed with modern social satire, visual absurdity, deadpan reactions, and escalating chaos. The humor relies on rapid-fire dialogue, uncomfortable social misunderstandings, and Darren’s constant attempts to maintain dignity while reality completely humiliates him.
04/01/21: We have completed our script for a short film to be shown at the Seattle Film Summit in September 2021. We want to thank the help we received from script writers with the Northwest Screenwriters Guild, and we will be submitting our screenplay to the Seattle Film Summit Film Freeway competition. In summary, it is about a professional career-oriented woman who goes through a nasty divorce, both her parents pass away from COVID-19, and she decides to start living life to the fullest. She begins checking off items on her bucket list, which includes working as a high-end escort that leads to her falling in love with her soulmate that ends up being an undercover police officer. She balances her career with her nighttime adventures in the underworld. It is mildly dark, but we followed real life experiences of several escorts and their lifestyles. We have begun taking test photos and short film shots. We plan on filming in Seattle, in particular Georgetown. We want to thank the investors as well because without their support we would not be able to rent some of the finest equipment and hire the best editors. We are using a soundtrack we made ourselves and own. Music was composed using expert composers & artists throughout the world. See below. Ultimately, we will be pitching the completed work product to Netflix as a series.
2019: Intravaia is under contract and providing technical advising to a Los Angeles based production company involved in Netflix productions pertaining to crime drama. We are providing technical support for the script content and flow, scene layout, and creativity support, all for the purpose of ensuring scenes and characters are portrayed accurately. Intravaia was instrumental in obtaining expert assistance from local and federal law enforcement agencies. Filming begins in 2020. Also, as a result of the 2019 Seattle Film Summit, we have began a partnership with the Washington Film Works. At the summit, Intravaia met many writers, actors and producers from WA and OR State and we are looking forward to working with everyone one of them. We are especially interested in working with student writers, local actors, producers, and directors.
